“Please pass along to the West Lakes flood victims and HOA officers that it is imperative for them to keep and retain RECEIPTS for ALL expe…nses and repairs associated with their flood damage. This includes cleanup costs as well. This information will be crucial for those who may be interested in participating in a FEMA buyout. If they are asked to submit repair receipts to their mortgage company, make sure they send copies; not the originals. They should also make copies of any flood insurance check(s) they receive before sending to their lender.
