I fully understand and support the concept of banning all motor craft when the lake level rises to threaten the top of seawalls on our lakes. However, since I live some distance from the west lakes area, I would like to know the corresponding Cosperville water height figure for the no wake/no motor ban action so that I can monitor the lake level my self and plan accordingly from my geographically remote location.

The Dukes Bridge Gauge is the one in which lake closing is based. I’ve added the link to this website and to this reply. They closed the lake when the height got to 8.4’ but may not open it until it gets to 8.0’ or lower to maybe 7.5’. Either way you are better off watching for it to be posted open on the West Lakes Facebook page or this website.
